David Haenel

Attorney David Haenel began studying law at Widener University School of Law, where he graduated with honors. He further developed his legal knowledge at the State University of New York in Buffalo where he received his master’s degree in law.

But Mr. Haenel’s success did not end in the classroom. Since beginning his career in DUI defense over 15 years ago, David Haenel has continued to make a name for himself as one of the top traffic ticket and DUI defense lawyers in Florida. He attributes his success as a defense lawyer to his extensive background as a criminal prosecutor and the excellent rapport he builds with both his clients and his peers.

In addition to being honored as the State of Florida DUI Prosecutor of the Year, he has practiced law in federal courts in Florida and New Jersey and holds memberships in the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Sarasota County Bar Association. David Haenel currently practices at The Law Place where he works with the some of the most talented and qualified attorneys in the state of Florida to bring clients to courtroom victory.
